Jones & Cerreta is a Los Angeles loudspeaker company co-founded by the celebrated designer Andrew Jones together with brothers Jamie and Bill Cerreta. After a career shaping some of the most respected loudspeakers in the industry, Andrew Jones has set out with a simple guiding idea: design in service to the music.
Their debut model is the Troubadour. The name honours the travelling musicians who carried song directly to the listener, and that is exactly what this speaker sets out to do. It preserves the artist’s intent and delivers the performance with presence, coherence and truth. The result is scale without strain, imaging without artificial spotlighting, and tonal truth without exaggeration.

The Troubadour is a three-way, high-sensitivity loudspeaker built around a dual concentric field-coil driver, supported by a dedicated low-frequency system. The architecture prioritises coherence, dynamic realism and room-filling scale with precise tonal balance. Engineered stands, grilles and meticulously executed finishes extend the design beyond the drivers, and dedicated mid and high frequency controls on the rear panel allow room and system matching.
Key features
- Dual concentric field-coil driver: coherent point-source presentation with exceptional imaging and soundstage.
- Field-coil motor system: externally energised motor structure for superior flux stability, dynamic control and transient accuracy.
- High-sensitivity design: compatible with a wide range of amplification, including low-power tube amplifiers.
- Three-way architecture: seamless integration of low, mid and high frequencies for full-range performance.
- Externally powered system: a dedicated external power supply per speaker for optimised field-coil performance.
